Qatuan website
Visual design and a bilingual WordPress site for an ecological landscaping studio, with photography at the size the work deserves.

Qatuan designs natural pools, gardens and homes integrated into their surroundings. It’s work that sells through images: whoever hires them needs to see what has been built before believing it’s possible.
The problem
Three different practices selling on the same thing: the image. Natural pools, landscaping and integrated homes serve audiences who arrive wanting only one of them, and the argument for all three is a photograph of what has already been built, at a size you can actually see. Add a body of work that grows with every project delivered, and an audience that also searches from outside Brazil — the site had to separate the paths, give the images room, and exist in English for real.
What was built
Visual design and a WordPress site, bilingual in Portuguese and English. The home page splits the studio’s three practices — ecopools, ecolandscaping and ecohome — into image panels that open each path.
- Complete visual design
- WordPress site, bilingual in Portuguese and English
- Portfolio structure by practice
- Deployment and domain configuration
Decisions worth knowing
What separates a portfolio from an album of screenshots is the reasoning behind each choice.
Three panels instead of a menu
The three practices serve different audiences, and visitors usually arrive wanting just one. Opening the home page onto all three paths, each with its own image, solves in one click what a menu would solve in three.
Bilingual by structure, not by machine translation
The English version exists because part of the audience searches from outside Brazil. Translating through an automatic plugin would deliver text that can’t carry a conversation; the English content is its own, with its own URL, indexable.
WordPress because the content changes every week
The project archive grows with every job delivered. The admin panel has to be operated by whoever takes the photographs, not by whoever writes the code — and there a familiar CMS is worth more than an elegant stack.
Got a problem in the same family?
This case study is about websites and portals. If what you need looks like it, the first conversation costs nothing and commits you to nothing.
